A players forged cavity back with an undercut channel. Sounds unlikely but
that's exactly what the Dynacraft Prophet Custom Irons are.
These irons start life as a billet of 1020 soft carbon steel. The billets
are then heated and pressed into a raw iron head shape.
These raw shapes are then ground and polished and the cavity back is CNC
milled into the heads. An additional CNC run then mills the undercut cavity channel.
The result is a forged cavity back iron with an undercut
channel for better weight distribution and more forgiveness.
Reduced progressive offset throughout the set makes for a more workable iron.
Workable, but still forgiving.
