To generate height with your irons you need to hit down into the ball. Down and

The Acer XK Ladies Irons solve the height issue in a couple of pretty nifty
ways.
First off and the most obvious is added loft on the clubs. Extra loft alone
won't do the trick though, so the Acer XK Ladies Irons have a lower Center of Gravity to help
launch the ball higher.
The sole is also wider, reducing or even eliminating fat shots.
Progressive offset gradually gets smaller as club loft increases. More in the
long irons for more forgiveness, less in the short irons for better accuracy.
The result is a forgiving set of Full Cavity Back irons that solve the height
problem once and for all.
You still have to hit down, but the design of the Acer XK Ladies Irons means you
don't have to hit them that hard to get those lovely, high launching shots the guys are so proud
