Acer CB8 Ladies Putter. Smaller Blade Length for
Better Distribution of Weight to Where it Works Best - Behind the Ball.
Another putter that benefits from the new equipment regulations and it benefits
well. Very well indeed.
Longer from front to back than left to right, the blade profile has been
shortened to allow more weight to be moved to the arms and central alignment aid.
This improved weight distribution means the Moment of Inertia (MOI) readings on
Acer CB8 are way higher then any conventional putter design.
Put a "studio" name on this putter and it would easily set you back a few
hundred dollars - it's that good.
The alignment system is pretty unique as well:
The result is a putter that is incredibly easy to line up to the hole and with
the increased MOI, that alignment won't suffer anywhere during the putting stroke.
Inside 10 feet it's deadly. Outside 10 feet and you'll hole more than your fair
share of putts. Distance control is superb.
Solid face putter which gets the ball rolling very quickly without any
noticeably ball skid.
The high MOI is evident. Anybody suffering from the yips will soon tell the
difference between the CB8 and other lower MOI designs.
The CB8 is another excellent putter from Acer and a very welcome addition to the
CB family.
If you're suffering on the greens with distance control and accuracy from the
8-10 foot range, give the CB8 a go. Makes putters out of all of us.
