Acer Mantara XL Titanium Driver. Named after the Manta Ray, the Acer
Mantara XL is a square shaped Titanium Driver featuring a longer profile 460cc volume and a
shallower 55mm face with MOI right on the USGA and R&A limits of 5,900 grams /
cm3.
The square shape of the Acer Mantara XL pushes all the weight to the perimeter
for increased forgiveness even on off-center hits.
This is a high MOI design. Off-center hits won't suffer that badly from
lost distance and accuracy.
The profile of the Acer Mantara XL is 8mm longer then the standard Mantara. Face
Height is reduced to 55mm to keep within the 460cc size limits.
The Center of Gravity (COG) is back and low. With the longer profile, the Acer
Mantara XL creates a higher launch. Feed-back has been excellent with most owners describing
the trajectory as "powerful".
Long drives come from long carry and the Acer Mantara XL has carry and then
some.
